“What is it?” Kitsune asked curiously, yet cautiously as she saw the flute slowly fill with a bubbly purple liquid. This was the Nine Wishes Special? It looked like... grape juice?
“It's a magic drink! Like the name says, you drink it and you get nine wishes.” The bartender said, setting the flute in front of Kitsune with a decidedly happy expression on her face.
“Wishes, eh?” Kitsune repeated, picking up the flute and looking at it from an odd angle.
“Yep, just one rule. All wishes have to be granted, so you can't use one wish to undo the results of another.”, the bartender pulled out a rag from underneath the counter and started wiping down the top. “Well, that and your wishes have to be pretty simple, you're not allowed to drag them out. Basically, just keep them to one sentence each, and you'll be just fine.”
“So, what do you think?” The bartender asked, looking up at Kitsune who had already taken the drink and upended nearly half of it down her throat.
Kitsune set it harshly back onto the counter and gasped out happily, “Damn, that's good.”
“And you say I get wishes?” Kitsune said, looking drunkenly toward the bartender, who just nodded nonchalantly.
“Well then!” Kitsune laughed out, “I wish...”
