Tommy’s revelation cut short as a commotion caught his attention. Standing up quickly, he stepped closer to the one way mirror that gave him a full view of the next room. In dismay, he saw that his lovely club had changed into a smaller, more generic establishment.
To complicate matters, it seemed that the customers did not appreciate having a gangly young man stripping on stage and throwing his underwear at them. Shouts of anger rose up from the half-drunk crowd, one man yanking the pair of men’s briefs off his face and hurling it away in disgust. Both Keeyes and Charlie had their hands full trying to get to the stage to remove the interloper before things got too bad.
Then, before Tommy could react, another man burst out of the backroom, a flock of strippers chasing after him and throwing random objects at the intruder. Naturally, in all the chaos, Tommy’s attention focused primarily on the girls. Did they seem older? A bit less tantalizing than before? The club owner’s stomach turned cold. Not only did he lose his wonderful new building, but he had also lost the keys to his dream business!
In shock, he gasped, “My strippers!?”
As it happened, his fingers chose this moment to fumble the button on the camera, setting off a flash.
But who got changed?
