Ranko was in a pickle. While she desired to be the mother of Ukyo's future children, she didn't want to cause him too many problems. Ukyo has been dressing and acting like a guy for years, yes, but she also remembered how much she wanted to be seen as feminine at times. Sure, she could change those things, but the unforeseen concequences could be dangerous. The best way, she saw, was to make a compromise, Jusenkyo curse. Not only would it be easily turned on and off, but it would allow Ukyo to go and protect her in the places she needed protection the most, hot springs and locker rooms. Ranko knew those places were the most likely to have something come and get her.
Ranko wanted to make it personal though, so she made it so that the Jusenkyo water was to hit Ukyo when she put on the ring. Smiling, Ranko closed the PC and left to go meet her husband, thinking of wedding preparations.
