"That could work." Madison admitted. "I don't think they figured on you becoming a kitsune, or if they did they didn't tell me."
Katie felt a flicker of sympathy at her companion's downcast expression and tone. They had been friends once after all. Still she was not about to let her guard down. She concentrated on shifting her form and within moments a sleek furred red fox shared the jail cell with Madison. With one last glance at the blonde Katie slipped through the bars.
What hit her was not so much the sights - the dungeon was grim but not any more alien than something she might have seen in a Lord of the Rings movie. No what hit her were the odours, a constellation of scents she had not noticed as a human but which stung her vulpine nostrils. There was a sweaty, masculine smell, a hint of something that might almost be perfume and a third she could not even begin to identify though it was pleasant... and made her feel a little horny.
In lieu of other options Katie decided to follow her nose.
