Yeah, I know there's no interest, but I've had the idea on my mind for at least a year if not two for some of these.

In case it's not obvious from the episode itself, the idea is, you know how sometimes a person will think someone that covered a song was actually the person that created it? I know I've seen the notion of "the ignorant tween girl that thinks some pop idol created something a much better band made 20 years ago" used to mock those sorts. The idea here is, what if everyone really thought that, or what if those ignorant assumptions were made true?

Whoops, forgot to say in my last comment, that all of these are partly based on true situations. Some younger people, mostly teens, really do or did think that Imogen Heap copied Whatcha Say. Katie Perry really was getting sued by Katy Perry's lawyers for using her own birth name for her clothing line because it was too similar to Katy Perry's name. Paris Hilton did launch a perfume with the Marilyn Monroe theme (but didn't pretend it was her that started the style), and things like Castlevania have turned Carmilla into a character that's lesser to Dracula.
