Soun Tendo. A man who Ranma hated on the day they met, a man who she loved today. If they were closer in age it could maybe pass as a typical Hollywood love story. Maybe. If Ranma was just a girl and Soun not attempting to marry Ranma off to one of his daughters. Which made it so improbable. Sure Soun Tendo did say that if Ranma wasn't cured of the current Jusenkyo locking plot to not worry that he will marry her, but she was disgusted by that and he would rather not. Yet somehow these two found each other after all of that. Ranma was back to switching between sexes and Soun was back trying to get him to marry his daughter. But something, something happened to change all that, to change the story.
And now Ranma was a girl forever because of that love.
The magic worked over Ranma as she cried. Cried because of what she had to do, what she gave up, and the incredible hardship ahead of her. It was a silent cry, she knew this was coming, she made this choice, and now she had to live with it. Besides, while covered in spring water she can pass it off easier.
