Let's focus on one town, shall we? This particular one was in Iowa and, like the rest of the world, a multitude of people there would have a major life change.
People were just going about their normal day when suddenly what came to be known as The Weight Switch happened.
As it turned out, only people who had a weight between 100 to 350 were affected, so many children were not changed, as well as the few adults who exceeded 350 pounds. But everyone else was affected, and that was a great deal of the population.
The way it happened was that anyone who was on the thin side of the scale would switch to the fat side of the scale, and vice versa, but anyone in the middle of the weight spectrum (225 pounds) would not change or wouldn't change that much. The specific change in weight was determined by the middle weight (again, 225 pounds), so a person who was 100 pounds would suddenly become 350 pounds, since the difference between 100 and 225 is 125 and the difference between 225 and 350 is also 125. So by the same math, a person of 150 pounds would become 300 and person of 200 pounds would become 250, and vice versa.
Okay, enough math lessons ... on with the story ...

Heather Lightfoot was doing her daily jog around the block (she liked to keep fit) when suddenly it happened. She lost her balance and fell to the sidewalk. It was odd, though. It felt like she fell on a bunch of pillows. She blinked, then screamed. She was fat! So fat that her clothes were nearly ripping apart! She poked at her blubbery skin with disbelief and horror.
When she started her run, she weighed 120 pounds, but now she weighed 330 pounds.

Dorothy McMichael sniffed. Why did all those cheerleaders have to be so mean to her all the time? Yeah, she was fat, but the way they treated her, it was like she was some kind of monster. She looked down at her blubbery body, when suddenly it happened. In the blink of an eye, her body changed from overweight to thin. She blinked, thinking that she was imagining it, but she wasn't. She touched her arm and felt the arm of a thin girl. Only that thin girl was now her.
Before the switch, she weighed 310 pounds, but now she weighed 140 pounds. She had lost over a hundred fifty pounds instantaneously!
Somewhere nearby, Dorothy heard what sounded like the cheerleaders screaming in horror.

Mark Wilson sat at the restaurant table, preoccupied by his favorite pastime: eating. He had an atrocious weight problem. At 350 pounds, he was almost like Jabba the Hut. But he didn't care. As long as he was able to eat as much as he wanted, he was in heaven. He just didn't understand how people could go without eating so much. It was such a delight.
And then it happened. One moment, he was busy eating something gooey and oh-so-good, but still wanting more, and then the next, he felt full. Full? He never felt ...
He looked down at himself and eyes went wide at the sight. He was no longer fat! He was thin! Really thin!
As a matter of fact, he was now 100 pounds, and as such, he no longer had the extreme appetite he had before the switch. How would he cope without his favorite pastime?

Sophia Delacroix, a sexy young woman who recently came to the United States from France, was in the middle of modeling when it happened for her. One moment, the 115-pound woman was gracefully taking poses for the camera, then the next, she was a 335-pound woman who was not graceful at all.
She looked down at herself in horror, then screamed.
The cameraman changed too, but not as extreme. He started at 215 pounds and ended up at 235 pounds. Not a big deal and he probably didn't notice that he had changed. But he certainly noticed Sophia's change.
"Holy fuck!" he yelled out, staring at the new blubbery version of Sophia, with eyes full of shock.
