Oh, shit! Angie, once again, was caught offguard, as she didn't heared somebody coming.
Startled, she looked back at the tall person, standing here, surprised to see Angie being here, sneaking into boys' stuff.
[Dammit! Peter!]
Indeed, standing here, not understanding what the small girl was up to, was Peter.
Angie started to believe the World was against her as she couldn't believe in such bad luck.
"!!... oh... H-hi Peter!....", the skinny brunette said, scared of consequence.
The tall jock walked next to her, with a displeased look.
" I said.... WHAT are you doing here !", Peter repeated giving her a quite threatening serious look.
"I... uh... I was...", Angie, caught offguard, in her panic, couldn't make up a valid lie.
Peter, doubtful, looked into Angie's eyes down there, then on his left, to the locker, opened, that he caught the small girl looking into... HIS locker.
All his stuff was still there. The jock was just going back into the locker room to take his phone he forgot there. But apparently, he just went here on time...
He looked back at Angie with more threatening eyes... Which made Angie had the confirmation she had been caught right just when messing with his locker right now... Talking of bad luck...
"Why are you sneaking into my stuff ?...", Peter said, calmly, but not without a bit of anger in his tone,"... TALK!"
"AH!" let out Angie at Peter's stronger voice in her ear.
Peter could be stupid, but he sure wasn't THAT stupid.
Angie knew she couldn't easily lie to him with a cheap improvised lie... So, in the end, decided to go for honesty... betting on trying to get Peter to listen to reason.
"I was... I was trying to take back my Dictaphone..." the 5 feet tall skinny brunette confessed, closing her eyes, her face red in a mix of frustration, sadness and anger, ready to take a punch or something from an angered Peter.
"Please, Peter!..." Angie said, hopeless, starting to feel sob in her voice, "It's important to me..."
Peter didn't moved, a stern and pissed look on his face, just watching the skinny shrimp whining here...
He didn't said a word...
Then, suddenly, reach his hand to the dictaphone, hidden under a towel in his locker, and put it in front of Angie's eyes, to much of Angie's surprise, who thought she was about to be beaten to pulp any second...
She opened her eyes and saw the dictaphone, here, before her eyes, in Peter's opened hand.
"This shit ?....", he just said...
Angie didn't answered, but her eyes were screaming a big YES.
"Look at you, all sobbing and whining for just a stupid piece of junk..." he said, condescendingly, but also puzzled to see the tiny shrimp getting all crying and stuff for just a stupid recorder.
"You want it back, shrimp ?... Well, take it !...", Peter just said.
Angie couldn't believe her ears and eyes... That was it ?... He just gave it back, just like that ?...
Noneless, she didn't need to be told twice and reached her hand to take it back from his hand like a starving child on a piece of bread.
Though, Peter swiftly squeezed it as Angie landed her hand herself on it... To continue his speech.
"I really don't understand you... Getting all crazy and crying for such a junk...Freaking nerds..." said Peter looking at Angie's sadeness in her eyes calming down.
"Damn, girl !.. I didn't even planned to keep it. This thing is useless as shit... If I knew you would get all this batshit crazy just for it..."
Angie wasn't really listening to him, she was just happy to be about to get the dictaphone back...
Ironically, not so much efforts were needed in the end...
All thanks of Peter obviously not being aware of the Dictaphone's power and a bit of sobbing.
"Just tell me first... little freak. What this shit even does ?..."
Peter just asked, waiting for at least an answer to his questions, before letting it go and gave the stolen stuff to her back...
What wasn't known (at least for him), was that his big fingers were now pushing the record button.
And the question is : Did Angie saw this ?

Choice 4: No, Angie doesn't noticed the record button is on. She takes control back on the Dictaphone, but accidentally makes a mistake that makes her forgot what was so special with this dictaphone. Back to square one...
