Jim knew how picky his girlfriend could be and decided to look around a few other places just in case. But since he was here he might as well get a card for his buddy Rick. Rick's birthday was in two days and Jim didn't want to be caught without something for him too.
Jim's friend Rick was built a lot like jim actually: average hight, medium build, although Rick had put on a few more pounds than Jim around the spare tire area. Jim thought it was from too much time in front of a computer. Jim bought Rick the card that showed the silloute of a young man with Rick's body. Inside the words made note of how it was okay to be average and maybe a little overweight a distinct change was in order for him. It also noted that he (the reipient) would have a new appreciation for life afterward.
Jim noted an instruction to the person giving the card on the inside of the envelope. It said only to make sure that the right person opened the envelope and that giving this card to the wrong person could be quite embarrasing. Jim agreed but didn't really think that it was worth a warning.
Jim went ahead and filled out the card and sealed it in the store. That way he wouldn't forget later. He left the card store and...
