Jim couldn't decide upon a necklace for sharon until he spotted an odd looking one hanging in the back of the rack.
"Perfect!" He exclaimed and quickly went up to the counter to purchase it. But when the man at the counted saw what one Jim had picked, he tried to talk Jim out of it. "No, this is what I want!" Jim frowned and threw the money on the counter. He didn't give the man a chance to explain or get a bag. He just stormed out and headed home.
As he waited for the ok to walk sign, he dropped the necklace and it allmost went into the sewer hole. "Whew!" He thought as he recovered the necklace. Not wanting to take a chance of dropping it again he decided to put it on. It was inside his shirt so no one could see it especially if he happened to meet Sharon.
He walked a ways further and started to feel strange. Too much sun, he thought. So he decided to wait at the bus stop in the shade.
