Sharon's Preoccupied

Sitting in the soapy water, Jim embraced Sharon and kissed her playfully on the cheek. "Happy birthday," he said.

"Thanks, Jim," Sharon replied halfheartedly. Jim noticed that she seemed preoccupied today. She was slumped over instead of sitting up straight like she normally does, plus she didn't usually take a bath in the middle of the day unless something was on her mind.

"Shar, is everything ok?" Jim asked, being the caring kind of guy that he knew Sharon liked.

"Yeah... well, no. There's something that's been on my mind lately. You see..."
