Sharon had recently read a magazine article about submarines, and the image of the Seawolf submarine had stuck in her mind for some reason. This submarine was so similar that she wondered whether there was any possibility that it could have been stolen from her own original alt. There had been nothing in the news media about a sub going missing, but that meant nothing, since had such a thing happened she was sure it would have been hushed up. And it might explain why the Russians only had a single such submarine, which had struck her as strange.
