Sharon didn't have time to enjoy the brief moments of freedom; she knew that whatever happened, there was hardly any way she could escape. With a half somersault she dived down as fast as she could, right under the Leviathan's hull, and used both eyes and sonar to get an idea of what she was facing.
The smooth cylinder of the hull was disrupted in many spots by gun turrets, folded radar dishes and other external pods which had visibly been added later. Sharon didn't have a clue on how to enter the beast (her plasma bomb, which looked junkish enough for the PO not to bother about it, was too weak to take out the core from the outside) and she could sense movement in the compartment where she was before... probably the patrol coming for her.
Rising to meet them (I'd better play this friendly she thought), a particular caught her attention -- the submarine's Hammer and Sickle was painted over something else. Making a detour to see what it was, she was surprised to see an American eagle crowned with a swastika.
Yet another alt. God, is there an end to this? she thought, not even trying to imagine from what kind of place the Seawolf came from.
The guards greeted her with the usual mixture of surprise and diffidence; Sharon could swear that at least one of them got a hard-on from the mere sight of her. They brought her near the airlock and waited there, presumably for the Leviathan to dock.
Meanwhile...
The tiny electrical submarine docked ten minutes before the monster, carrying but a single passenger and a set of keys.
"Comrade Captain Varius. How was the transfer?"
"Smooth as always, Comrade Kulisciof. Do you have your key?"
"Yes sir."
"Excellent. We'd better unlock the Engelsium containers now... the less time we waste, the better."
The two high-ranking officers were sharing a bottle of fine champagne when a red light called Kulisciof for an unexpected evenience. Tired, the Captain decided not to follow. When the PO came back, the base already shaking to the tune of the reloading crew getting ready, it was with an expression of utter disbelief. In few words, he told the Captain what he found in Bay 17.
