Jim found out that this new position actually paid better than the Web Dev Job that he was originally offered. "Yeah, I guess I can try this out and see how it goes." Jim confesses. Other than having to attend some extra training expected of the secretarial position, he seemed to have made out like a bandit.
Jim grins at Miss Everts and says, "I gues I'm your new secretary, pleased to meet you!"
Miss Everts smiles and says, "Now that we have sorted all of that out, lets see about getting you setup to get some work done."
Jim spent the day getting acquainted with his new office, and the work that he would be for doing for Miss Everts. Finding everything to fairly easy, and well organized he went to go see about this extra training.
Jim learns that he will be expected to attent afternoon classes to get familiar with the company policies, computer software, and interpersonal skills. It all looked pretty tame, and he thought it would definitly keep his work load down while he became acquainted with the job.
