The girl replied, "O - kay", then started back away from the old man, when the man grabbed her hand. The room started to vibrate. The man fumbled in his pocket with the other hand and produced a small electronic device. The girl started to scream, and with a white flash, they were aboard a giant starship.
Ther were a couple of news reporters there, and some were from the Guide. They had just come back from covering a Disaster Area concert from a couple of millenia ago. Their ears were still ringing a little. Disaster Area were going to be at the End of the Universe that night, so they had come along to get an interview. They would be lucky if they did though. Hot Black was spending he rest of the year dead for tax reasons. The little girl looked startled.
