Mr. Fukuyama called in two more R&D men, who toted in a device that looked like the combination of a sleigh, microwave oven and a large plastic funnel. The researchers explained to Jim that he will operate the controls on both sides of the funnel, and also function as the magnet that attracts airborne matter through the funnel. Once out the small side of the funnel, the matter would be formed into what it is (perhaps before it became airborne. Jim fitted his hands in the controls and activated the strange device. It hummed loudly, and matter began to collect on the funnel's small end. He was shocked to see the early matter form into the shape of a foot, one wearing a nylon stocking. Soon, he had a full leg, than a hip. As the second leg formed, an arm developed. All at once, he had a whole body -- female, wearing tattered clothing. Then the head developed. It was his girlfriend Sharon, the one disassembled by his perfume. Waking up, Sharon told Jim, "You saved me. I never thought I'd see you again." She explained to Mr. Fukuyama about Jim's perfume (not knowing that he had purchased it at some eerie store). Fukuyama was impressed.
