Edith attention was drawn to a intriguing looking book that was slightly sticking out from the shelf. There were no words or anything that told Edith what the book was. The only reason she thought the book looked interesting was the weird symbol that was on the front of the book.
"Ah!" spoke the shopkeeper, who Edith didn't realize had gotten way too close behind her and scared her right out of her shoes. "You have quiet the eye to have picked that book. That is the spell book of Merlin,(or a copy of his book.)" The shopkeeper said under she voice. "It contains power the likes of this world has not seen in a millennia!"
Edith looked at the book again and gave a quizzical look at the fat man. "You're wanting me to believe this some ancient tome of one of the most powerful wizards and you just so happen to have it here in some part of a run down mall store?"
"Look kid. You do with what you got but I'm telling you that is some strong stuff you've got in your hands. You choose to whether or not to buy it or be left to wonder what could have been." The fat shopkeeper shrugged at the skeptical young girl and hobbled back to his counter.
