Walking deeper into the SRU store, Edith's eye was caught - and held - by a fancy display of charms bracelets. There was a pretty big selection of charms for it too, she noticed. Okay, so what she noticed first was the sign saying that you get a free charm with the purchase of a bracelet. Sounded like a good deal - some of the charms looked pretty expensive - so she went over to take a closer look.
Funny. Looked like there wasn't any way of fastening the charms to the bracelets. Maybe that was the catch with the special deal...
"No it isn't," the manager said. Eeep! How did such a fat man manage to sneak up on her like that? "It's a... special patented mechanism. Just put on the bracelet, hold a charm up against it, and it attaches itself."
Yeah, right. She picked a random bracelet and charm and gave it a try. Surprise, surprise, nothing happened!
"Of course," the man continued unperturbed, "once it's on it won't come off again. So it only works after you buy it. Don't believe me? Double money back if it doesn't work!"
Double money? This guy was going to pay her just for trying out a bracelet? She had to come her more often, and bring all her friends! She picked a bracelet, put it on, handed over the money and looked a the selection of charms again. Finally she chose
