Link paced experimentally, walking between her bed and the mirror. Every step reverberated through her whole body. Aftershocks spread through her bloated belly. Her bountiful bosom strained against her thick cloth bindings. Her fat ass wobbled obscenely in the open air. It was all rather disconcerting, but far from unbearable. The sudden weight gain had stolen her agility, but not her mobility. She wasn't as helpless as she'd first feared.
Midna, however, was too small to carry such a heavy burden. Link couldn't stand seeing her grounded like that, pinned to the floor by her overflowing flab. She hadn't said anything, but it must have messed with her magic too. Link had seen her lift multi-ton stone bridges while thin, yet she struggled to keep herself airborne at a mere few hundred pounds. Even so, she'd kept her up her typical nonchalant charade. Just thinking about it brought a smile to Link's face.
"I think I'll stay like this for awhile." said Link.
"Are you sure?" asked Midna. "I don't mind being the fat one. The world's on your shoulders. I'm just along for the ride."
"I'm sure. I picked up the magic rock, so I'm going to deal with the consequences. I'm stronger than this — I just needed you to remind me.
"Still, things aren't going to be easy. My speed and endurance are gone. There's no muscle under this pile of lard. All I've got left are my courage and my wits. If that's not enough, can I count on you to watch my back?"
"Of course!" replied Midna. "Just... don't push yourself too hard."
"Got it. Now, what should we do next?"
