Jim accidentally ends up in the army

When troops withdrew as a train with Guards Artillery was stationed in Breslee, Jim who was to accompany them boarded the rest of the members, but at the signal for re-entering he could not find the car in which his mom was sitting, looking up and down in agony to meet her. In vain. The train finally sets in motion and he had to stay behind. But he only waited for the next one, who bringed the third guard regiment, and traveled with it, but unfortunately did not know the battery which joined the item, and now drifted among the members until he had a young guard of the fifth company, whom the poor Jim took, accepted, and kept him with him.
