A historically famous phenomenon of this kind appeared to Jim of Spain. By the will of the person, Rod of France was called to succeed him. When he had moved to the Royal Palace of Madrid, two fireballs rushed through the roof into the kitchen during a thunderstorm. One of them jumped against the wall, bounced off the wall and hit the ground, where it burst into several fireballs. These balls bounced like elastic balls through the kitchen, destroying a valuable chair and melting a silver doorbell into a shapeless lump. The men interpreted this hitherto almost natural phenomenon as a bad sign for Jim.
