“He’s that rather unpleasant-looking one over there, the one in the purple robe and the white fur trimming.” Mila whispered. Sharon looked through the crowd to where her bodyguard was pointing. There she saw three men: the man in purple Mila described who was apparently rather old, a shorter man wearing blue robes who was similarly aged looking, and a man probably around her in a brown tunic and pants.
“Wait…” Sharon said, gazing at the younger man across the room. She then turned to Freyja and the Matron, who were a couple steps in front of them. “Um, I’ll be right back, I think I see someone I know.”
“Someone you know?” The Matron said, a confused look on her face.
“Yeah… I think…” Sharon trailed off, and proceeded to waddle off towards the younger man. Mila followed behind her.
“So, who do you think this someone is?” Mila asked.
“Jim.”
“Who’s Jim?”
“My boyfriend, who may or may not be standing over there talking to that noble.”
“Ooo, you have a boyfriend?” Mila smirked. “Wait, is he from your world?”
“Yes, which is why I’m confused. I was brought here for some prophecy, but why is he here?”
“Who knows? The Matron seemed surprised when you said you knew someone here, so perhaps she might not even know.”
“Then how—” Sharon stopped. The young man seemed to have spotted her, and (after saying a few words to the man in purple) was now walking through the crowd towards them. At this distance, Sharon could tell it was definitely Jim.
“Hi.” Jim said simply as he walked up to where Sharon and Mila were. “Wow. You’re… really pregnant. I guess that’s not too surprising considering all of the other women here are, but… wow, you’re huge.”
“Really? I hadn’t noticed.” Sharon chuckled. “But Jim, holy crap, you’re here! I didn’t think there was a chance in hell that I would see anyone I knew here but… Jim, my eyes are up here.”
“Yes, but your boobs are down there. Jeez though, do you have like J cups now?”
“Jim, were in public.” Sharon was now keenly aware of Mila, who had taken a few steps back and was barely containing her laughter.
“That has not stopped me before. Also, your ass is phenomenal. The fact that you’re wearing a skirt and I can still see the outline of it is great.”
“Wait, what?!” Sharon said, trying to turn around to look at the back of her dress. “No wonder it felt so tight…” She moaned.
“The belly though is by far the best part. All big and blemish free—”
“Jim, I need you to stop being perverted for a sec.”
“But being perverted is my one constant character trait throughout, like, a million plus episodes.”
“Episodes?”
“Uh, forget I said that. You wanted to ask something?”
“Yes. First off, why are you here, both in this world and at this party?”
“I don’t really know why I’m in this world. Just sort of woke up here a few days ago. As for why I’m at this wedding…”
