"Then what is it really!?" Jim demanded, "Tell me the truth now."
"Well- I'm not really your girlfriend," Sharon said nervously...
"If you're not really my girlfriend Sharon," Jim said incredulously," Then WHO are you?"
"Well, it's kind of awkward, but I'm really Shae, your great-great-great-great (insert several greats here) grand-daughter," the Sharon look-alike said a matter of factly, " I look like your girlfriend Sharon, because eventually, you two get married, which makes her my great-great-great-great (insert several greats here) grand-mother..."
"Right- which would make me your great-great-great-great (insert several greats here) grand-father," Jim said looking at her a little cockeyed.
"Actually, the surviving historical record indicates you were REALLY great- in bed that is," Shae said with a smile, "Considering the primitive, limited technology of this era, that must have been quite a feat!"
"Oh, uh- yeah," Jim said, trying to bluff his way along with an uneasy grin," So, in the future-er-sex is really-uh- out of this world?"
"Oh, of course! Medical science has eliminated all sexually transmitted diseases and problems!" Shae said proudly, "Well, except for children, but they're working on it...."
"A-ha. And you came back here to- what, have sex with your great-great-great-great (insert several greats here) grand-father to find out how it was done in the old days?" Jim said wondering what Sharon- or Shae was planning.
"Oh, no! There's much more at stake than that! Although some sex would be fun," Shae said, adjusting her blouse, "You see, the time-police have discovered a quasi-temporal anomaly-thingie which may lead to the doom of our highly advanced forty-fourth and a half century way of life! And since you become - er - a major player in the field, they decided to send me back to this backwater era to see if together we can stop this impending disaster before it destroys everything we hold dear!"
"Do tell," Jim said leaning back and rolling his eyes and wondering if there was a reputable insane asylum nearby to put Sharon away for a while.
"Did I mention that adult magazines, web sites like the BE Archive and large breasted women will be the first to be banned and destroyed by this menace?" Shae said. Okay, THAT got Jim's attention.
