"Yes," said B-Cup Jasmine, running her hand over the inscription. It says exactly what they say it did. But why did they need to translate it? It's in English!"
"I was wondering that myself," said D-Cup Jasmine. "Don't these people know we spoke English in Arabia, along with everybody else on the planet Disney? I'm not even sure what 'Arabic' is!"
"It would be the language of Arabia, I guess," her counterpart responded. "That is, if the language of Arabia wasn't English."
They pondered this for some time. "They must mean our flowing cursive script," B-Jas decided, eventually.
"Yes, that's it!" D-Jas replied. "It's so much different than the script of surrounding countries, like that of the Greeks, or the Egyptians! Silly of me not to think of it!"
"Hey!" cried B-Jas. "Look! The memorial seems to have a door! I wonder how those guys could have missed it?"
D-Jas looked troubled. "I don't think it was there a moment ago," she said. "I wonder if this could have some significance to our plight."
Just then words appeared in fiery gold across the face of the doorway:
"Shall we enter?" B-Jas asked.
D-Jas heard the archeologists in the distance, returning. "I think we have little choice," she responded.
B-Jas pushed at the door, which swung inward silently, revealing a long flight of stone steps. The Jasmines entered, and the door closed behind them. A mysterious glow lit their passage as they descended into the depths of the earth...
