If you don't like the direction a thread is going, and you can think of a plausible way to create a branch that is more to your tastes, then by all means do so! Diversity is what the Addventure thrives on. BUT if you can't think of a logical way to extend the story in that direction, just leave it alone and extend some other thread. These deus-ex-machina little non-episodes are only yawnworthy. Thanks for my intelligence, guy, but I'd rather have regained it through an actual plot development."
She cocked her head and continued, "Besides, if you had actually read the preceding episodes, you'd know that I already had my intelligence back, but was locked in a program that prevented me from showing it. So your little cyborg didn't even accomplish anything. Better luck next time."
