Downstairs, Nabiki was somewhat surprised to find a large black man with a Mohawk waiting for her. He looked slightly dangerous and a bit ticked off, but she estimated that his gold chains were worth somewhere in the range of twenty-thousand yen, so he probably had money.
"You!" the man said. "I hear someone's been beatin' down on a certain Soviet cyborg. Now, I ain't got no love for no U-S-S-R, but if anyone's gonna be beating down on that cyborg, it's ME, ya hear me?"
"Excuse me," she said, "but how did you get here?"
"How do ya think? In my van, sucka! I drove it smack through the hole in the fourth wall you made with the last episode. So don't go kicking me out for violating story continuity or somethin' like that!"
She would have answered him, but suddenly two American high school kids appeared in a swirl of green light.
One of them glanced around. "Are you sure we got it right this time?"
"Yeah, I'm sure. This place looks just like I remember it."
"Ok, so explain why we have to do this, then..."
"I've already been over that part, Jim. We managed to get ourselves turned into Akane and Ranma respectively and teleported ourselves into this dimension."
"Yea, I remember that part. But someone rescued us!"
"WE rescued us! From the future! Therefore, we now have to go back in time to save ourselves. If we didn't, it'd create all kinds of continuum irregularities and probably cause reality to collapse. Oh, and watch out for Soviet cyborgs... I hear one of them warped back to somewhen around this time. For all we know, the Soviets might want to make this reality collapse." Rick noticed Mr. T. "Oh, hey Mr. T!"
Mr. T waved, then turned back to Nabiki to continue his lecture.
