On the next day, Uiharu Kazari was walking through the streets of Academy City early in the morning. There was chattering in the streets as boys and girls left and right also walked through the same area as her. Sakugawa Middle School had many attendants, from all over Academy City. The girl gave off a sigh as she reached the school building and stopped in front of the entrance.
She was a little annoyed that she hadn't gotten the chance to find out what the strange dust was. Even after Saten had left, there was not much to learn about the stuff or the useless item that had contained it. Apparently, the lab was currently filled up with more important material to check and they couldn't get to analyzing something "trivial" like that until the next day at the earliest. She would find out what the stuff was by end of school though, once she got back to Judgement branch 177 that is. The stuff was fortunately not toxic, that at least the lab checked with a quick check after hearing that they had gotten a full body dosing of it.
Idly, she twirled a strand of her hair through her fingers. She could still remember having the dust stuck there; it was pretty annoying to be honest. It was actually pretty hard to explain. All she could really say was that it had felt sort of like when she was around Misaka and the Level 5 started to send out sparks because she got annoyed or excited. Like the stuff could start to shock her at any time. Maybe it attracted static electricity?
Or maybe she was just being silly.
Finally, Uiharu was close enough to really look up at the school clock to check the time. Less than a minute she decided after a moment later, the gates would open automatically any second now.
Without warning, a shadow moved behind her and she felt just a hint of wind and something which was unfortunately quite familiar.
*Wuush*
Her skirt soared up, exposing her lower body to the eyes of anyone watching. Immediately, Uiharu felt her face reddening in deep embarrassment. She turned around within a single heartbeat, skirt fluttering through the air around her and giving a tantalizing sight to all observers for a few split-seconds just as many heads turned. The boys standing around her blushed and some of the girls did the same.

It was somewhat comedic how Uiharu called out loudly at the grinning girl which had once again flipped her skirt. Normally the small girl with the artificial flower decorations in her hair was quite calm and polite, but even she could let her limits go when she was skirt-flipped in front of her entire school! That girl was getting worse and worse.
Uiharu pouted and looked like she was going to scold the girl with the longer hair, but then the school bell called out loudly and she turned her head to the entrance, seeing that it was opening now. The students around her were already starting to move, no one really wanting to be late and getting a round of detention from the teacher She did see a few embarrassed looking boys and girls glance in her direction though, which made her consider just giving the other girl an extra scolding.
Before Uiharu could get things back in order and consider whether berating Saten would be worth the trouble, she felt that the other girl had already grabbed her hand and was pulling her with her into the school proper.
Uiharu sighed; she just couldn't have a normal day, couldn't she?
Nah, she would find some way to get some payback for that sooner or later. She was pretty used to the skirt flipping by now, but that didn't mean that she had no wish to show the other girl how it felt to get embarrassed for a change.
Yeah, she would have to think up something.
As the two prepared to split apart for their respectable classes, Saten apologized. She did still have that smile on her face which made her look a little like the infamous Cheshire cat from the English children's book though. Of course that didn't make her look too sincere.
"Ah come on, don't give me that look. It was just a little bit of fun, no harm." With these words, Saten moved next to the student and starting to wave her hand against Uiharu's skirt again, though this time it didn't do anything more than make it flutter a little without actually exposing much of anything. "Look, nothing wrong. It will help you get used to talking with boys." She winked at Uiharu there and the short haired female blushed.

"It is embarrassing Saten, you always do this." Even then, Uiharu didn't let any malice fill her voice. Both knew that if Uiharu were truly hurt, Saten would stop. It was more of a quirk of their relationship, a sort of inside joke between them some would say.

Still, Uiharu couldn't let Saten keep playing with her skirt forever. She didn't want to be late after all.
"Okay, that is enough." With these words, she pushed away the hand of her friend before wiggling her finger scolding in front of the other girl.
"You better get going, or I will go and start doing horrible things to you in the future."
At the words, Saten gave an obviously fake look of shock, shuddered in an overly dramatic way and turned around and left for her own class.
Uiharu sighed. That girl could be so chaotic, next she would come out with another of these ridiculous Urban Legends she kept hearing about. What was the last? The stripping woman, or the Bust Upper?
Well, that was her friend she guessed.
Meanwhile Saten felt a little weird. When she had been playing with Uiharu's skirt a moment ago, she had felt a little different... if she had to say, she almost felt faster and better while doing it.
Then Uiharu had pushed her away and the feeling had gone away.
