As the next class started, Alexis attempted to focus on it. History, she thought, but her thoughts felt a little bit... cloudy. Was it history? Or science? Maybe geography... She honestly couldn't think straight, in spite of her very best efforts to concentrate on the lesson at hand. How could she possible achieve that when right over there was the love of her life? The light of the sunrise, the air she breathed, nothing in her life compared to him. It was impossible for her to focus when he was within easy range of vision, working every bit as dilligently as she ought to be. Luckily for her, nobody noticed her own unusual behaviour - nor the fact that rather than notes, she was doodling Jaden's profile and hearts with their initials in them. They were also glancing at him, concerned about his sudden change in attitude. None of them understood. She was thankful for that, because it meant she had him all to herself.
She suddenly screwed up her eyes, and tried to focus on the lesson in an effort to take cues from Jaden. Focus on the lesson! She could stare at Jaden later on, though even talking to him filled her cheeks with a bright red and made her breath catch in her throat. She loved him loved him loved him so much it hurt! He was too adorable, and strong and sexy! He was... what was the word her friends used to describe guys they liked? Oh yeah! Hawt! He was the epitomy of hawtness!
Attention turned back to the teacher, who wasn't nearly as interesting to look at. From the diagrams on the board, she was in a tactics lesson. "With that in mind, the key vulnerabilities of the lockdown strategy are that you cannot spend as much time with Jaden as you would truly like."
Alexis blinked. What did the teacher just say? And why were the diagrams on the board mutating into Jaden's super hawt face?
"As you've no doubt figured out," the teacher continued, and it was becoming increasingly clear to Alexis now that she was daydreaming, "Most duelling strategies can be applied to the fine art of seduction. Pick your poison, Alexis. How will you seduce Jaden?"
She rubbed her eyes, and tried desperately to keep focused on the lesson. Ugh! She was better than this, surely. A little crush on the hawtest guy, like, ever surely wouldn't interfere with her studies in the long term. Would it?
