Jim carefully removed the plant from the ground. It really wasn't difficult to do since he just burried the pot that held the roots.

But since the plants first attack it seemed much heavier. It had actually grown and now had lite green bulbs hanging under the flowers.

He covered it and put it in the back seat of his car.

1. *on the way to Sharon's house he had to stop and give his little sister a ride back home.
2. he had to stop to get gas and ran into a friend.
3. he got pulled over for a broken tail light
4. *he drove to Sharon's house but she wasn't home. Her mother was there and snatched the plant from Jim's hands.
