Jim drove straight over to Sharon's house. The plant seemed content in the backseat (however a plant might seem "content"). Jim kept glancing back as he was driving, noticing it was a little bigger, and seemed to be growing some sort of green bulbs under the large flower. Jim guessed these were the plant's fruit, or something. As Jim drove up to Sharon's house, he noticed her car was gone. Oh well, at least he could drop it off for her. He carried the plant up to the door and he knocked.
Sharon's mother, Beth, opened the door. "Hey Jim, you must be looking for Sharon. I'm really sorry, but she's not her right now, she had to go to the hospital. She found a jogger in pretty bad shape, and called in saying she was at least see that the women get some medical treatment. You can come in if you want and wait for her."
Jim followed her into the house. He told her that the plant was a birthday present. Beth commented on what an odd plant it was, and Jim said that he found it at a weird shop and thought Sharon would like it. Beth told him that she would go into the kitchen and give it a little water, and told Jim to sit in the family room. Jim went and sat, but curiousity of what the plant would do took hold of him.
