Jim laughed as he saw the program he had zapped Samantha into. It was a documentary on Grecian sculpture. The host, an older balding man wearing wire-frame glasses, was walking through a museum, commenting on the subject as he went.
At first, Jim had thought that Samantha had become the host. That was until he stopped in front of a marble statue on a raised pedestal. The host finished his comments, then walk off-camera. As he left, the camera panned up the statue. It was Samantha, frozen in stone.
With that, the picture faded and the prompt return to the screen. Grinning, Jim turned to watch as Samantha blinked back in with a flash. Sure enough, she back become a statue, just like the one on the television. "How about it, Samantha?" Jim asked. "Do you still think that people who are changed by this remote of your 'are just fine'?"
Samantha didn't have anything to say.
