Harley wondered around Gotham for hours in worry. She knew that The Joker would kill her when he got out of the closet. She just had to think of some way to make him forget he was mad. But how?
She looked at the laptop that she had clutched to her chest. (I don't think that we've mentioned what type of computer it was. If so, sorry.) Then, an idea formed. With the computer's ability to change real people, she could use it to get rid of those busy-body superheroes. But where to start? "Well," she said out loud. "Dad always said, 'Ladies first'." She typed a few commands into the keyboard, pushed enter, and disappeared in a flash.
Seconds later, she reappeared outside the museum in Gateway City. Looking around she saw what she expected to. Standing near the museum's steps, dressed in her familiar red-white-and-blue uniform, was Wonder Woman. She was talking to a couple of her friends. "Hey, Blunder Woman!" she called out to bring attention to herself. "Over here!"
The superheroine turned toward her. "Who's that?" one of her friends asked.
"Her name's Harley Quinn," the amazon answered. "She's the Joker's girlfriend. Hardly a real threat. Excuse me a second." She moved away from her friends and called to Harley. "Why don't you save yourself some pain, and just give up now, Quinn. Do I make myself clear."
Harley grinned. "Yourself clear?" she asked. "Not really. How about I give you a hand?" She typed a command into the keyboard.
"Have it your way, then," Wonder Woman sighed. She rushed toward the clown-dressed woman. As she got close, she brought her fist back, ready to deliver a light punch to knock her out. But before she could throw it, Harley punched enter on the computer.
The effect was almost instanteous. Wonder Woman stopped in mid-stride, her hand still pulled back. With a sound like ice crackling in a glass of water, her entire body grew hard and stiff. Light reflected off the unmoving amazon, as her body -- costume and all -- turned into solid crystal.
"There you go, Wonder Broad," Harley giggled. "I made you clear. Crystal clear, in fact." With a laugh, she typed in a new command. As she hit enter again, she vanished, leaving the crystalize heroine frozen on the sidewalk.
