The shock wave expanded from the bomb. It wasn't something as wussy as a 3 dimensional shock wave. No, this shock wave extended into the formula of existence itself, making little changes and altering plenty.
But to make Jim's fantasies a reality was going to be a doozy, as Jim had much more than just one fantasy. Many more in fact. The hidden desire to make the world more interesting was also warping the effect a bit. Everywhere people seemed to be growing extra bits. Many grew animal traits like ears and tails, while others grew extra limbs or developed robotic parts and such.
Some women grew improbably large breasts, or extra breasts, and some even developed male genitals, and not always in the usual place either. Men weren't exempt from changes as well, as various sizes of dick, balls, muscles, and other things took place. Mental changes also ran rampant across the world, increasing libido, or adding habits, or even diminishing or increasing intelligence.
This of course, is just a sample of the changes happening all over the world, and Jim himself was no exception to such things as changes worked into him as well.
So as Jim woke the next morning, he found a world...
