Konatsu and Ranma, Ukyo and Akane: planning for the future

"The stars are out and we still have no plan on what to do with telling anyone." Ranma sighed. "After years of not seeing my mom, to have to run away from her..."

Konatsu comforted Ranma as her eyes gathered tears.

"Whatever we do we have to figure it out fast." Ukyo told them. "We haven't got much time left. It's only a matter of time before anyone catches up to us."

"How did you manage to find us, Mistress?" Konatsu asked.

"Accident." Ukyo shrugged. "We had close calls back at home so Acchan and I made an excuse to go out by ourselves to someplace away from everyone, but we bumped into Ryoga and after he wandered off we found you two."

Akane blushed. "When we found you, it was graphic. I had to be held back. But the noise..."

"Oh so who's the pervert now, voyager?" Ranma smirked.

"It was an accident!" Akane insisted.

"Doesn't seem to matter from what I recall when I do it." Ranma huffed.

"Hey, let's get back on track here. No guilt tripping." Ukyo got their attention. "My point is that I bet that there is a search party and you've been gone too long, Ran-chan to not have Shampoo after your ass."

Ranma groaned. "That's the last thing we need."

Akane thought over who she could get to help but it was a small, small list. Her father was no help. Nabiki would screw them over. Kasumi would help as would Dr. Tofu. But after that, she had many enimes and few friends. Yuka and Sayuri were just regular schoolgirls. While she didn't doubt their loyalty she did doubt their usefulness. Outside of that though they were alone.

"Maybe Kasumi can help keep eveyone calm?" Akane suggested.

Ranma shook her head in disagreement. "She can't stop either of our fathers from trying to marry us. That's the biggest issue. Akane can go home and even do what she wants if I wasn't in the picture."

Konatsu cried. "I'm sorry, it's all my fault."

"Don't go blaming yourself." Ukyo was stern. "It's not your fault. We need to have a solution that makes it so that Akane cannot marry Ranma in the most undeniable way. Even now, I doubt they would ease up just because you two are both full time girls."

Akane was thinking hard. "We need to satisfy them. Their schools joined idea. Once that's done, everything else is easy."

"What if they were already joined?" Konatsu asked.

Ukyo smirked. "You mean if they were related already? That might work!"

"So what, we make it so they're long lost brothers or something?" Ranma suggested.

"Exactly!" Akane got exacited. "There will be no need to get us married then!"

"I don't know, cousin marriage is legal and it might make them all preserve the bloodline or something crazy." Ranma frowned.

"What if Genma isn't your father?" Ukyo asked.

"ARE YOU CALLING MY MOM A SLUT?" Ranma stood up, angry.

Konatsu held Ranma back, trying to calm her down.

"No!" Ukyo tried explaining. "Nothing like that! But you know, what if? It's a possibility?"

"If Mr. Saotome isn't Ranma's father, he can't try to marry us." Akane said the thought aloud.

"I still doubt we can get them to believe it." Ranma was calm again. Having Konatsu kiss her would work.

"Who do you care about, all of you?" Konatsu asked. "The only people I truly care about are around this fire."

"Ditto." Ukyo shrugged.

Ranma sighed. "Outside us, just my mom. Kasumi is nice and all but truly, if we could just get my mom to accept me..."

"I do care for my family. And friends. And Dr. Tofu..." Akane looked down. "But I would choose Ucchan over them if I absolutely have to."

"I hope it doesn't come to that." Ukyo hugged Akane. "Maybe if we get your mom away from eveyone, Ran-chan and you live with her..."

"But how do I convince her?" Ranma seemed hopeless.

Akane snapped her fingers. "For the girl forever, if we convince her it's not your fault, then she won't mind. Then you ask to stay at her place with her because you can't bear to be near me when we can't marry. You figure out if Nodoka wants grandchildren or a manly son in a girls' body and then you introduce Konatsu as whatever auntie would accept. If we can get her to keep a secret, I'll come out with my relationship with Ucchan."

The other three processed it. It was risky for sure, with Konatsu having to agree to stay away until Nodoka could be dealt with. Akane will have issues, and interference from others would be a problem.
