Konatsu and Ranma, Ukyo and Akane: Akane has the most to lose

"I don't know." Akane was worried. "Can we just be sneaky?"

Ukyo sat next to Akane and embraced her. "Look Acchan, I'm here for you. But out of all of us here, you're the normal one."

"What does that mean?" Akane didn't get angry but felt like it.

Ukyo kissed Akane on the cheek. "Konatsu here had a horrible step family. Ran-chan was all alone with Genma until recently. I have been out on my own for most of my life. You have a family. Not exactly ideal but it's better than what we have. Kasumi, Nabiki well she's... At least she doesn't go out to try to make you miserable. Usually. And your father is a nice guy at heart. They mean a lot to you. I know. I don't want to ruin the only good family any of us have. But we cannot hide this forever. It will come out eventually. If your family is any good it wouldn't matter if we come out or not. So you see, it's not your fault if it get bad."

Akane looked away and thought about it. Ukyo did have a point. But it wasn't something she would want to do.

"We can warm it up first. What you three just said is true. But that's our last option. I would want to try and do it peacfully first. Slowly. Can we? Can we try to get accepted? Please?" Akane sniffled, causing Ukyo to hug her more.

Ranma and Konatsu agreed. It was reasonable.

"Thank you. I... This has been stressful." Akane started getting teary eyed.

"Oh I know what will cheer you up." Ukyo smiled and picked up Akane.

Akane shrieked, blushing. "Not in front of them..."

"Oh my little prude..." Ukyo chuckled and opened up her tent.

Konatsu snuggled up even more to Ranma, making a suggestion with his eyebrows.
