Ranma was going to punch Ryoga's face for his comment but she saw the kettle Ukyo used on the ground. Kicking it up with her foot she saw some water still on there. That's when it hit her. Sure she knew that she locked herself. But seeing that kettle with water and knowing that it would have no effect on her ever again, that made the situation all real. That more than anything made her realize that her life was changed forever. After being locked quite a few times it was a familiar feeling. But unlike those times, this one was voluntary. This was something Ranma chose not for her own sake but for love.
"I'm worse than Kuno huh?" Ranma had tears forming in her eyes. She looked up to Ryoga and laughed pitifully. "Girls after me huh? How? When I'm like this?"
When she said that Ranma poured the hot water over her head, seething in the pain, the pain of hot water and of the sacrifice she made.
Ryoga gasped at Ranma's non transformation. His rival being locked didn't even cross his mind.
Ranma laughed harder. "Yeah, yeah I'm worse than Kuno. Kuno wouldn't do this. Kuno wouldn't sacrifice THIS! Look like THIS! I dare you to say that again!"
Ryoga was somber. "What happened?"
"None of your buisness... P-Chan!" Ranma snarled and walked away back into the wilderness.
Akane and Ukyo were just staring the whole time in disbelief. Konatsu ran after Ranma.
Ryoga was left in shock.
