Katie had a moment's doubt, but then decided that she really did want her own body back that badly, oversized boobs and all. Not only had she become used to it, but she felt that she had a responsibility to the people of Lysfamar as their queen. Assuming that she could somehow return there, she knew that she wouldn't be acceptable on the throne with the relatively modest breasts that she had now. What would happen to her if she tried to put on the Royal Necklace in an attempt to prove that, in spite of appearances, she really was the queen? In her current body would it recognise her as being of the royal line and expand her breasts to an "acceptable" size, or might it think that she was an imposter and kill her?
Meanwhile the wizard was summoning a new portal for Katie. "Before I step through," she said, "surely you can tell me something about what I will face. All you've said so far is that you could send me to someone who might be able to help me. Then you said that the journey might kill me. So what journey will I need to make once I emerge from the portal? Why is it so dangerous? Who is this person who may be able to help me, and how do I get to him or her?"
But just then there was a knock at the door, and a voice said: "Wizard, open up! We're searching for an escaped prisoner."
"There's no time to tell you that!" Thorn hissed. "You're a bright girl, so you'll work it out. Go through the portal right now, or we'll both be in big trouble."
So Katie did. A moment later, the portal vanished. She found herself:
