After carefully turning through dozens of dusty old pages, Terri found a page full of Suzi’s girly pink and purple script filling the margins.
It was a surprising relief to see english again after what had to be 30-something pages of nothing but latin. Even in her life as Teresa, she’d never extensively studied latin so she’d been relying on latin roots and origins she’d learned over the years to even have a vague idea what the book was saying without the translations written in the margins, which this page was filled to the brim with.
Like the other pages, this one had a title written in a larger font at the top of the page with what seemed to be directions and descriptions written underneath it. Unlike the other pages, this one had everything translated.
“Inimicis amici facti sunt - ‘Enemies into Friends’ Spell,” the ancient latin title and Suzi’s translation read.
Terri had to stop herself from squealing in excitement as she read the translated notes describing a powerful mind-alteration spell that was a perfect way to bring enemies over to one’s side. It required a potion and incantation to cast, but could apparently be used multiple times if the spellcaster put a few runes on their body.
Obviously, this thing had to be the spell turning girls into bimbos, but it didn’t seem to include anything about body alterations. Was it possible that there were more spells at work here? Worried, Terri turned the page and moved on before coming to another fully translated section just a few pages later.
“Mille passus meare mi lectus gravida scelerisque - ‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes’ Curse,” the latin and Suzi’s translation read.
Though she was smiling when she started, as she read the description, the blonde’s face fell. Like the Enemies into Friends Spell, this was a powerful incantation requiring either a potion and incantation or a set of runes to cast. Unlike the Enemies into Friends Spell, this curse altered the victim’s body and effected people’s perceptions of them to be more like that of the spellcaster’s. This had to be why everyone was getting turned into an absurdly curvy sorority girl who was the bane of intelligent women everywhere, since that’s what Suzi was!
The problem though was that the curse wasn’t supposed to alter a person’s mind and lift itself once the victim became truly sorrowful for their past transgressions against the spellcaster. But if it was combined with the mental alterations of the Enemies into Friends Spell, wouldn’t the victim not be able to remember their past transgressions let alone the fact that they were ever different?
Did this mean there was no cure for all this?
