Before Terri could look through the book further, there came a knock on the door and Suzi's voice. "Terri? Are you in there?"

Quickly, Terri closed the spellbook and stashed it under her bed, then called out "Yeah, I'm here."

The door opened and Suzi walked in, looking distraught.

"Suzi, what's wrong?" Terri asked, pretending to be concerned and in the dark.

"Someone took something from my room."

"What is it?"

By this time, Robert began to wake up, hearing all the voices.

"It's a family heirloom," Suzi explained. "It's a book that belonged to my great-great-grandmother Abby. I really have to find it. It's really important. Can you help me?"
