“I hear you, girl,” Monique said, glancing out the large shop windows and the audience outside. “Hormones seem to be the new black today. Even for the men in blue.”
“Police?!” Kim took her eyes off her nakedness. There was one who was trying to give her the steely eye of the enforcer even as one of them twitched. His partner (a lady cop) and the rest of the mall cops were trying to do crowd control. “They, uh, they have keys, don’t they?”
“You’re darn right they have keys, Kim Possible!” an unwelcome voice said.
“Bonnie!?” Of all the people to have been in the store when Kim had locked the doors. What was she doing at Club Banana? It wasn’t high-end enough for her need to make a fashion statement. “Bonnie, I have no time for this! Monique-”
“You’re not going to ignore me, Kim Possible! This is going to make the news, and I’ll finally be able to tell everyone how you…”
Kim ignored her rant as best she could, “...Monique! I think the clothes are still there. But I can’t tell, because when I touch them, they, uh, well, it’s hard to explain.” Kim hopped off the counter. “Everything just sort of blends together. So, if you can touch the invisible-”
“Kim!! The counter-Where you were sitting-it’s, it’s Gone! It dissolved, too!” Monique cried out, her fear of being dissolved herself returning.
“It’s because she’s a skank! Look how she’s leaking from being a total exhibitionist!” And unfortunately, the missing sales counter did have liquidy edges.
“Bonnie!!” Kim stepped menacing toward her chief tormentor. “You’re probably right. This is going to make the news. You’ve always been jealous of my fame. How about joining me?”
“Stay away!” Bonnie Rockwaller backed up. “I can’t be seen next to a pervert like you! Unlike you, I still have a reputation!”
Using better speed and reflexes, Kim grabbed the brownette around her shoulder so they could both “pose” for all the cameras pointed into through store windows. “Smile, Bonnie.”
“Kim!!” Monique screamed. To her and Kim’s horror, a green plasma moved from the invisible clothes in her hands up her arms and down her body, “dissolving” all of her clothes!!
And then it was Bonnie’s turn to be horrified.
