Rikki ended up working the rest of the day in the lab with Tim, Brian, and Felicity. They weren't much for chit-chat and barely paid her attention outside of the minimum words required to speak to her for professional matters. She would look in at Jim on the monitors and find him, er, her sitting around, looking bored and scared and oh so vulnerable. Rikki longed to hug her and hold her close, but that certainly wasn't going to happen anytime soon with her "team" around. Finally, it was quitting time and Tim and Brian rushed out right at 6:00pm. Felicity lagged behind on leaving because she was busy putting away her work for the night. "So," she said flatly at seeing Rikki still hanging around, "Do you need me to take you back to your cell or should I call a guard?"

Rikki stood from the stool she'd perched on and tried again to pull her borrowed lab coat shut, but of course it wouldn't go. Still flashing her pussy, she replied "I don't know how to get back to my room," emphasizing room over cell. It was the truth. Robin had led her down corridors and she had no idea how to get back.

Felicity then did something that Rikki took close note of. She took her ID access card and tapped it on one of the white panels Rikki had seen on the walls around the compound. "Computer," Felicity said, addressing the master servers, "Where is #635's cell?"

"My name is Rikki," she sighed at being reduced to a number.

"I know," Felicity replied, "But the computer knows you by number."

"#635 is assigned to Block D, Cell 12," the computer replied. Rikki noticed the voice sounded like the voice of the Starship Enterprise computer run through a white noise machine.

"Come on," Felicity said, grabbing her purse. "I'll take you." The scientist tapped her ID card on the white panel by the door and it slid open on command. She gestured for Rikki to walk ahead. She did her best to remember the path through the facility. As she walked, she saw staff and guards walking around, although most seemed to be clocking out and heading for the exits.

"Um, so, what's your plans for the evening?" Rikki asked, trying to make small talk to break through the awkwardness.

"No unnecessary conversation," Felicity countered. "I'm not supposed to talk to you past what's absolutely necessary." Rikki kept quiet the rest of the way until her escort practically shoved her unceremoniously back into her little "broom closet" of a cell.

"Good night to you too," Rikki mumbled to herself sarcastically as the door slid shut behind her. She sat herself down and did her best to rest as she ran through ideas in her mind. An escape plan was forming and Robin's ID access card was the focus of it. She hoped that Jim and the Sharons were doing alright. If this worked, they'd all escape before the night was over. If not... well, obviously staying here under these conditions was intolerable.

Rikki didn't have a clock in the little cell, but she listened carefully for noises outside the door and after a while the footsteps and muffled chattering from passerby stopped. Once she was satisfied the compound was basically closed for the night, she stood up, reached into her coat pocket, and pulled out the access card. She tapped it on the white panel by the door. "Computer," she said softly, imitating Felicity's access commands, "Tell me where..." Crap! She didn't know her friends' numbers! Well, if she was #635, then... "Tell me where #636 is and how to get there." The computer replied with directions... right, left, straight, right... Rikki repeated them to herself. Then, attempting to pull her coat closed again and failing, she tapped the card to the panel and said "Computer, open this door." It slid open without hesitation. Peeking out, she saw nobody in the corridor and started walking hoping that anyone looking on cameras would see her coat from behind and not look too closely at how she wasn't wearing shoes or pants. She walked quickly but quietly, following the computer's directions. Around corners and down corridors, she saw no signs of life. Everyone really did go home at night here, it seemed. Finally, she came to the door that the computer had identified. Gulping with nervousness, she tapped her card on the panel and opened the door. "Seriously?!" she whisper-yelped at what she saw.

"Rikki?!" Sharon and alt-Sharon asked in unison. The two had been assigned to the same cell and, taking advantage of the time alone, had been making out together when the door opened. They were sitting on the floor against the wall, legs out and spread with their hands massaging each others' pussies while kissing passionately. "How did-"

"Time to go," Rikki said, not wanting to dwell on anything right now and eager to find Jim and other-Sharon. "Follow me, ok?" She tapped the panel with the card and asked the computer for #638 and repeated the directions to herself. The Sharons stood and quickly followed their savior out into the hall. Rikki looked back to be sure they were with her and saw them holding hands as they walked. "You two are really in love, aren't you?" she asked quietly.

"Being trapped here, together, really helped make some things clear," alt-Sharon replied just as softly. Sharon nodded in agreement.

The group came to the next door without incident. Rikki opened it using the card and found Jim inside, still a girl. "Oh thank god," Jim said at seeing her friends. She was on her feet and following without another word.

"Who's this?" Sharon asked, looking at the new girl's bare ass as they walked.

"Don't you recognize your boyfriend?" Jim asked.

"Jim?" Sharon gasped at the realization. "What did they do to you?"

"Shh," Rikki shushed them. She tapped another panel and asked for the location of #639 and did her best to remember as the computer listed a long, more complicated path away from this part of the building. They kept moving, the corridors feeling longer and the naked women feeling more and more exposed despite nobody else being around to see them. As they moved closer to their destination, they began to hear dull thuds and pounding sounds that only got louder as they approached. The Sharons held hands tighter. Everyone was on edge. Finally, they arrived. Rikki took the ID card in her hand and started to hold it up to the panel by the door.

"Wait," Jim said, grabbing her arm. "Maybe I should go first." She took the card and tapped it to the panel. The door slid open. Other-Sharon turned to face the doorway and snarled, demonic fangs bared. Transformed fully into her demon form, she had been slamming herself into the dense steel and concrete walls to try and escape, but aside from causing some serious dents and cracks, she hadn't been anywhere near successful. Whipped up into such a rage, her eyes glowed bright blood red and she acted on instinct, leaping forward and pouncing on what she'd assumed would be more guards or scientists. Instead she saw a naked woman in the doorway. Her anger turned on a dime to joy and by the time she reached the target, she'd shifted from moving to attack to moving to hug tightly, nearly knocking Jim off her feet. "How'd you know it was me?" Jim asked, being embraced with her face pressed into other-Sharon's large boobs.

She kissed her transformed love, sweetly saying "I'd recognize you anywhere."

Rikki picked up Robin's card from where it had fallen where Jim dropped it and tapped the wall panel. "Computer, tell me how to get to the multiverse transporter room." The machine replied and it didn't seem far away at all. Rikki wanted to relax; it all seemed too easy and was seemingly almost over, but she had a bad feeling that the worst was yet to come. The sudden sound of the alarm sirens and red flashing lights overhead told her she was right. "Run!" she yelped, and the group took off racing down the corridor. The directions were leading them to the end of this particular long corridor. The door was up ahead, currently closed. As they ran, Rikki saw a panel on the wall ahead and tapped the card as she ran by. "Computer, open the door up ahead!" No response. They passed another panel. She tried again; "Computer, open the door!" Still nothing.

"I got this," other-Sharon declared, rushing to the front of the pack and building up a head of steam, racing full on towards the door with all her weight behind her. She crashed into the door with full force, ripping it off its frame and bursting into the transporter room. She came to a stop and dropped down on one knee, panting for breath and stinging from the pain of ramming it.

"Quickly, onto the pad," Rikki said, and Sharon and alt-Sharon dashed up onto the device. Jim helped other-Sharon to her feet and she dazily stepped up. Down the hallway, the sight of a dozen guards all armed with rifles came running into view.

"Rikki..." Sharon said warily, frozen in fear.

"Get us out of here, please!" alt-Sharon said with both urgency and politeness.

Rikki tapped her card on the panel of the machine itself. "Um, I don't know their coordinate system," she said, looking at the touchscreen input panel. "I don't know where to take us!"

"Anywhere is better than here!" Jim said, and as the guards burst into the room, Sharon and alt-Sharon shut their eyes tightly and grabbed each other for a full body hug in terror, other-Sharon moved to shield Jim from the impending gunfire, and Rikki tapped random numbers on the destination controls and, just as she slapped the button to activate it, barked out "Computer, erase outgoing coordinates!" As the group saw their world fade to white as the machine activated, the last thing they heard of this nightmarish world as the sound of gunfire, and everything shifted and changed, and then...

... then they were in another universe.

"Oh my god oh my god oh my god," Rikki yelped, feeling her hands around her body for any gunshot wounds. "Is everyone OK?"

"I think so," Sharon said as she and alt-Sharon checked over each other. Other-Sharon had dropped down on her knees and was panting for breath again, totally exhausted but unharmed. Before the group's eyes, she transformed back into her normal human shape and collapsed down onto her side feeling drained and just about hysterical from the ordeal. Jim was at her side, holding her hand and rubbing her bare back as she said supportive things to her, but after a moment she too succumbed to the stress and transformed as well back into a man.

Rikki stood back up and adjusted her lab coat, then had to laugh. "What's so funny?" alt-Sharon asked.

"We finally use a teleporter that takes our clothes along with us," she said between giggles, gesturing to her coat, "And we're all naked!" The others had to agree with the absurdity of the moment and they all broke down laughing which releived the stressful tension hanging in the air. They all laughed together which turned into a group hug. They'd escaped. They would be alright.

"So where are we this time?" Jim asked, taking a look around. Unlike their other trips, this time they were outside. A warm breeze blew and the sound of waves crashing was not far away. In the moonlight, the group got their bearings.

"We're on a beach!" alt-Sharon said triumphantly. Sure enough, this teleporter was installed outside on a beach for some reason. They were alone out there on the sand, and as they stepped down from the transporter platform, they relished the fresh air and open freedom.

"I know we should be concerned about what happens next," Rikki said, "But how about we just enjoy this for a few minutes?" She stripped off her "borrowed" coat and dropped it on the sand, feeling like a woman reborn. She held out her arms and let the breeze flow over her bare skin, her nipples hardening and pussy tingling at the sensation.

"Sounds great to me," Sharon said, and she and alt-Sharon held hands and walked toward the surf, talking to each other all the way.

"How about we just sit?" other-Sharon said to Jim as she still recovered from her ordeal, and Jim plopped down next to her on the sand as he too caught his breath. They layed back and looked up at the stars, although she stole glances at the Sharons frolicking in the waves. Each couple felt safe in each others' arms, while Rikki felt like a true hero. The lone woman strolled down the beach, allowing herself to feel triumphant in this moment. As she walked, she looked away from the water at the high sand dunes that blocked her view of whatever was beyond. A low dune crossed her vision after a minute and she was able to see what was over yonder: a massive beach house three levels high... and the lights were on.

"We're not alone here," Rikki said, dashing back towards the others. "C'mon, let's go." Back at the teleporter, she turned to the controls and made a very disheartening discovery. First of all, the controls were not written in English or any other language she recognized. They weren't even written with recognizable letters or symbols! Next, being installed out here in the elements, it wasn't like the machine was plugged in. Closer inspection revealed what looked like solar panels grafted on the machine, and the moonlight wasn't enough to charge them. The machine was, for the moment, dead. Sharon and alt-Sharon approached, damp from playing in the surf. Jim and other-Sharon strolled up, his arm around her waist. "We have a new problem," Rikki had to admit, explaining her discovery.

"So we're stuck here until tomorrow?" other-Sharon asked.

"I think it's worse than that," Rikki said.

"You're thinking the same thing I am, aren't you?" Jim asked her. "Those solar panels aren't large at all. It'd take days, maybe a week or two, to fully charge any kind of battery this thing may have with panels so small."

"Yeah," Rikki sighed, feeling defeated again. She picked up her coat and shook the sand out of it, then put it back on. They were going to be here a while.

A sudden light shining on them caused them all to quickly turn around towards the source. Rikki tried again unsuccessfully to close her coat while the other women did their best to cover up with just their hands. Standing there behind them and holding a very bright lantern was, just as naked as the others, yet another Sharon, although this one sported dark blue hair and slightly larger breasts compared to the other Sharons in the group. She was also a little more fit with visibly toned abs and strong yet still softly feminine legs. She smiled at the group and set the lantern on the sand, then extended her arms in a welcome gesture. "Um, hi," Sharon said. The new Sharon replied... but not in English, or Spanish, or Japanese, or any other recognizable language. Whatever she said sounded polite and friendly and welcoming based on intonation, but her actual words were a mystery.

"Uh, do you speak English?" Jim asked, and the new Sharon looked at him puzzled. She too had run into the language barrier separating them. She said something else to him that was uninterpretable, but she pointed at the transporter.

Rikki thought she was understanding. "Yes, yes," she said excitedly, pointing with her, "We came through on that," and although the new Sharon didn't understand the words, she caught the meaning, and her own pointing grew more excited too. They wouldn't be able to speak to each other directly, but they could still sort of communicate.

The new Sharon pointed at Sharon, asking something unclear but ending with a recognizable sound: "Charon?"

"Charon?" Sharon repeated, questioning.

"Charon!" the new Sharon repeated back, still pointing.

"Sharon! Yes, yes, I'm Sharon," she replied, placing her hands to her chest to gesture to herself. She made with more introductions. "And this is also Sharon, and another Sharon," she continued on around, "And Jim, and Rikki." She pointed at each as she said the name.

"Jyem," the new Sharon repeated as best she could, trying to match the names into her own language which seemed not to contain what the group took for granted as common syllables. "Rykky." She gestured to herself, identifying herself as "Charon." Jim mused that it sounded like Pluto's moon. Charon pointed at the house up the beach, said something, and gestured for the others to follow her. She picked up her lantern and started walking, turning back and saying something to the group and gesturing again to follow.

"Should we go?" other-Sharon asked.

"She's friendly and has a house with I'm assuming hot showers and soft beds," alt-Sharon replied. "Hell yes we're going with her."

  1. Charon opens her magnificent beach house to the group.
  2. *Charon doesn't live alone. The group meets her equally nude and equally incomprehensible housemate(s).
  3. It is a law of the multiverse that Sharons are attracted to one another and Charon is no exception.
  4. Something Else
