The bottle pointed at Rei. She would get the first turn. Everyone watched her expectantly. Rei swallowed, her heart pounding in her ears, and gave the bottle a flick. The bottled whirled around and around, before it slowly settled on the opposite side of the table.
“Oh no...”
“Oh, yeah!” Rei watched with trepidation as Usagi furiously typed. With a smug smile, Usagi read it aloud before hitting enter. “Rei Hino looks and acts like a Yakuza tough-guy.”
“Damnit, Usako, that shit ain't cute!” Rei growled, extinguishing her cigarette on Usagi's tabletop. The winding smoke was reflected in Rei's aviators, as she adjusted the band on her four hundred dollar watch. Rei's simple sundress had changed into a white cotton leisure suit, with a red men's dress shirt opened just enough to hint at cleavage. Her two feet of straight black hair had vanished. Now she sported a slicked-back trim. Rei's face looked rough and weathered.
“Uh… Rei?” Makoto cautiously asked. “Are you okay?”
“No, dumbass, I could really use a drink. Why do I need a drink? I don't fucking drink.”
Minako pointed to a hint of ink under Rei's collar. “Is that a tattoo?”
“No shit. I guess it is.” Rei pulled her collar aside to reveal swirls of color running down her shoulder. Shrugging off her suit jacket, Rei stood up and undid her dress shirt. She pulled out one arm, letting the shirt hang halfway off and revealing an elaborate demon's face tattooed on her muscular back.
“Woah.”
“No way.”
“Hubba hubba.”
“You cuties like that, huh?” Rei flexed her naked arm. It made an impressive bicep. The girls around the table shrieked with delight. Rei let the mirror shades slip down her nose and winked at Ami. It flustered the bookish girl.
“Oi, Usako,” Rei pulled her shirt back up. “You gotta spin now.”
“Oh. Right.” Usagi wiped the drool off her chin and reached for the bottle.
