Becca had avoided sports and fights her entire life, but she felt her blood boil as she rushed to Maggie's aid. There was a power welling within her (and, she guessed, within Min as well). All she had to do was get close enough, and the Dean would be reduced to the miserable old shrew that she was.
Her heart sank when she saw that they were too late. The Dean's tail still had Maggie suspended by her ankle over the pool, but it was the old Maggie. Athletic, fresh faced girl-next-door pretty Maggie. The Dean had drained part of her soul and all that the soda had added to her. Where the dean had once been a monster, now she was even huger, eye level with Min and Becca. And she was as supernaturally beautiful as Maggie had been, and then some. She turned to face her two challengers, showing a hint of poisonous fangs behind her full lips.
"You seek to challenge me?" she laughed. "I would give you the peaceful, ordered school you once craved. But now, after I feed on you, you shall help me bring that order to the entire world.
Min had seen enough action movies to know that the time to strike was while a villain was monologuing, so she rushed forward. "Good luck with that, you scaly bitch from hell!" she cried, drawing in a deep breath as she came. Becca watched in anticipation as she hoped to see the dean lose all of her power to Min.
Neither of the girls knew, however, about the Berry Heroic soda that the Dean had ingested earlier. Not only did it giver her invulnerability and magnified her strength ten thousandfold, but it also gave her superhuman reflexes and speed. With a flick of her tail, Maggie fell into the pool, hitting her head on the side as she fell. Becca cried out and jumped in after her. Dean Rodriguez's tail then lashed around the incoming Min, and before Min could use her power, the snake-demon flung her high above the campus. It would be dozens of miles before she landed.
Becca cried out again, praying that her friend could survive the shock of impact, she realized that it was all up to her. Standing in the deep end of the pool that barely reached her knees, she turned to face the Dean.
The Dean licked her lips with a slender forked tongue. Becca froze, consumed by the same desire she had felt for Maggie earlier, compounded by the demonic allure of the Dean.
"No need for us to fight, is there?" the Dean asked. "Think how much better it will be when everyone on Earth is United under the rule of a single, benevolent all-powerful goddess."
To her sorrow, Becca found herself meekly offering herself to the Dean. "Yes, my Queen..." she said before utterly surrendering.
