The girl watched as the "Venus flytrap" plant turned transparent and filled with green gunk. The salesgirl walked over as a new pod began to grow at its base. They watched as the pod grew to the size of the original. Both had identical Jims inside. They both had the same clothes and everything.
"Because you couldn't get this stupid earthling to take the plant to his girlfriend, I had to put him in suspended animation. It will be your job to dispose of this one." The manager stated pointing at Normal Jim. The second pod opened and Plant Jim walked out. He acted and talked the same as the Normal Jim, but this one was a slightly different. This one knew nothing of about the plant. He only knew they were giving it to him free of charge.
Plant Jim, being as cheap as Normal Jim took the plant into his car and started to drive home. He had a date with Sharon that night and he had to get ready and get over to Sharon's house. She was always nagging him when he was late.
The sales girl took Normal Jim in his pod and threw him in the back of the delivery van. Her manager told her to dump the pod in the reservoir. The reservoir was seven towns over. She got sick of driving. Since she was a bigger ditz than the previous salesgirl was, she chose to dump Jim in a field four towns over. The girl expect Jim to either die or wake up in a far enough from his home that no one recognize him. Anyone Jim told his story would think he was demented and call the cops.
{If my memory serves me, somewhere in the area of this thread you can find that Jim travel over four towns to get to this nursery.}
