BTW: Questions for Jake T Catt

Unending BE - episode 201739

Eventually he felt a voiceless presence . . .

Hello, Jake. Yes, there's someone here.

"Funny, I could have sworn there wasn't," Jake said.

Yes, I often get that reaction. Actually, Roy Del Frink, the usual reporter, seems to have stepped out to take a leak.

"Oh, I see. And you are--?"

Deja Voodoo, at your service.

"DVd, the Backstage guy, right, I've been there."

Quite. You're there now, in fact.

"So," said Jake. "You got any questions for me?"

I do. I feel a certain affinity for you, actually -- according to Adama's index, you're a writer of many names, while I myself am one of many avatars. As I understand it, you are not only Jake T Catt, but also Fox Mulder, Jazz, yzal, prolific, and ": )" (which I suppose might be vocalized as "smiley"). Would you care to share with our audience your reason for adopting these various pseudonyms, and where they come from?

"That's it? That's your only question?"

I have appended a few more in the options, from Mr. Frink's generic list. He himself might wish to ask you others on his return. Or someone else might. I believe the standard method of conducting these "Behind the Writing" interviews is for you to link back here after answering each question and take up the next one, should you so desire. So I have made this episode linkable. Of course, some choose not to do things that way. I myself haven't, in the interview Roy's doing of me.

"Was that what he was up to before he heeded the call of nature?" Jake asked.

Not exactly. It's going on in a parallel thread. I just thought I'd help jump-start this one too, since it seems to be going begging.

"Very well. Fire away."

  1. *To repeat the question intially posed above: "As I understand it, you are not only Jake T Catt, but also Fox Mulder, Jazz, yzal, prolific, and ': )' (which I suppose might be vocalized as 'smiley'). Would you care to share with our audience your reasons for adopting these various pseudonyms, and where they come from?

  2. Which episodes did you enjoy writing? Which were challenging beyond belief?

  3. Aside from Avatars, who is your favorite AddVenture character?

  4. What inspires you?

  5. What can we expect you to write next?

  6. Any other questions someone might care to pose that Jake would care to answer.
