"I must purify myself," Morgan said, "cleanse myself of the antidote, and then I can be infected again."
"But how can you do that?" Beth asked.
Morgan looked over at Dale, "Him. I need a vessel who will take in the toxins that course through my body, that have poisoned my spirit. Intense physical contact during a state of highly focused spiritual concentration should effect a complete transfer of the taint that the Hunters have infected me with."
"You mean, you have to have sex with him?" Beth asked, the idea of Morgan making love to another making her feel suddenly very jealous.
"Yes, and I might have to do it many times over before my body will be fully purified," Morgan nodded. "I'm... sorry Beth, but there's no other way."
"No! Have sex with me!" Beth begged and reached out for Morgan. "Let me be your vessel!"
Morgan shook her head, "No Beth, in all probability the transfer would permanently cut you off from the essence of the Tigress, and I won't jeapordize our future together like that. I still want you to join with me, to share in the joy of being a weretigress, and I know that together we can make sure you won't be corrupted by the spirit of the Tigress the way that your friends were. The choice is still yours to make, I would never force you into it, but if you become the vessel that cleanses my body then you would never again be able to make that choice, even if you wanted to."
"I... I understand," Beth regretfully agreed. Morgan hugged her in a tight embrace and then moved over to a corner of the shack. From behind a crate she pulled out a box of condoms. And then she turned toward Dale. "I'm sure you understand what we've been talking about, Dale," Morgan said, "Are you ready for me?" Dale trembled for a moment as he stared at Morgan who was pulling off her shirt and unzipping her pants. The girl's breasts jiggled in the light of the shack. "Er," Dale cleared this throat, "OK."
In a conference room somewhere in the complex known as The Citadel a small group of men and women were having a meeting.
"It was the Owls! The fucking Owls!"
"We should have just sent in Bravo Team and exterminated them all!"
"You know we couldn't do that, not until we confirmed the involvement of the Owls, anyway."
"But now they've all escaped!"
"They can't run from us forever, the werecreatures or the Owls."
"The police and newsreporters are crawling all over that neighborhood now; it's complete confusion."
"We have the other homes under surveillance, and the lake as well. They will be found. Cheer up people, the mission was a success. We now know without a doubt that the werecreatures aren't just another group of monstrous freaks - they hold some kind of great importance to our adversaries, the Owls. Now all we have to do is discover what that importance is."
"We should just kill them all."
"Don't worry my friend, justice will be served. These monsters will be punished for murdering your men, Derek and the other Black Dogs. But not until we know for sure what is going on."
