"Self Defense?" asked a courious Aniko.
"Yes Aniko," Aileron smiled at her, "you can not always use magic for everything. From time to time you must beable to defend yourself physcaly."
"Oh," Aniko hadn't thought of having to defend herself physicaly.
"You get dressed and I will have Miksa meet you in the field near the garden." Aileron stood and walked to the door. "Kaylanya will come to you later today to talk if that would be okay with you Aniko, I think she has much she can teach you." Aileron glanced at the Elf that sat in the corner.
Kaylanya stood, "yes child," her voice almost as enchanting as her eyes, "we have much that we need to speak of. I look forward to our next meeting."
"I would like that," Aniko responded. Then she noticed something as Aileron and Kaylanya exited the room. It was as if they were speaking to one another without words. As the door shut she could have sworn Aileron seemed to have a worried look apon his face.
Not sure as to what to think of it she desided to get ready for Miksa. She put on a light blue pull over swetshirt over a sports bra (boy she was glad that the clothing here seemed to be very close to that of her own world). She wore a pair of shorts under swetpants and a pair of tennishoes.
As she got down to the field Miksa was crotched down in the standard gargole style pose his wings folded nearly melded with his back. "Hello Miksa," Aniko yelled as she joged up.
"Hello m'Lady," responeded the even toned Miksa.
"Umm, could you call me Aniko and not m'Lady?"
"If that is what you would like Aniko."
"Yes that is much better. Now i guess you are supose to teach me to defend myself."
"Yes Aniko, the first think for me to do is to determain what you know and how you react now."
"Okay but I warn you, I have a Black belt in Kirate. Or well Jim had a black belt even if it was when i was young." Aniko drops into a somewhat rusty fighting stance. "Lay it on me Mik..."
Aniko couldn't even get the words out when, and she doesn't know exactly how, Miksa had jumped over her head and somehow managed to grab both her arms and rolled her backwards over him to him now standing up with both her arms held behind her with his foot gently pushed into her back.
Aniko could hear Emma laughing wildly near by. "Ugggg," Aniko groaned, and Miksa let her go and helped her to her feet. Aniko had learned something else about the quite little gargole he is also very fast.
