Aniko blinked repeatedly, just because that was about all she could do without aching. "I had no idea you were so fast?" she managed to half state half ask as she stared up to the expressionless gargoyle.
"Yes... I suppose I am," Miksa responded, "Although Miss Emma would do well to remember that humans have somewhat more physical restrictions than certain other species." Immediately the young cat-girl clamped her mouth firmly shut.
"No, no... It's all right. I... well, I guess I shouldn't have tried to show off and all, what with everything being so new, still... But, do you think, maybe... You could let me up?" Emma giggled again and Miksa released his hold and foot.
"Perhaps a staff. Wizarding types seem to like staves, we can work on the rest later. Emma, if you please," Aniko wasn't sure if she was still dizzy from the sudden lurn into the ground, or if it was something else, but something seemed different about Miksa. He seemed... well, downright talkative. Then again, she supposed all this instruction required a certain amount of speaking, so it was probably nothing at all, really. Although she could almost swear there was the hint of a smile on his face, if not the suggestion of amused laughter in his voice.
