The men stood up and began walking towards the back of the room, and Jim followed.

The man who had seemed to be the leader put his hand against the wall.

A moment later, a secret door opened, revealing a personal elevator.

The men crowded inside, and told Jim to do the same.

Once Jim got in, the doors closed and they were carried down to the lobby.

They got out, and calmy walked outside.

People were rushing out of the building, and they were all getting apprehended by various men in gray suits.

They were ushered into gray, unmarked vans.

A group of men in the gray suits approached the group Jim was standing in.

"You're coming with us." The leader of the group said.

The entire group, including Jim were herded into a gray van which was completely empty except for one person.

"Mr. Williams, I see they got you too." The man said.

The leader of the group, presumably Mr. Williams, said, "Yes sir, Mr. Hamilton."

The men outside closed and locked the doors.

Now Jim, Mr. Williams, Mr. Hamilton, and five other men were trapped inside a gray, completely blank, rectangular compartment.

"I don't understand. What's going on?" Jim demanded to know. He looked at Mr. Hamilton. "Who are you?"

Mr. Williams cut him off. "Don't you dare speak to him like that. He's ChangeCorp.'s CEO! He-"

Mr. Hamilton cut off Mr. Williams with a wave of his hand.

Hamilton turned to look at Jim. "You don't know, do you?"

He chuckled lightly.

"Tell me, what's your name?" Mr. Hamilton asked him.

"Ellis." Jim said. "James Ellis."

"Well, Mr. Ellis, do you mind if I call you Jim?" Hamilton asked.

"Go right ahead." Jim said.

"Good. My name is Hamilton, by the way."

Mr. Williams said, "Sir, I-"

"Enough!" Hamilton exclaimed. He turned back to look at Jim, and smiled. "You see Jim, we've been abducted by a group known as the "Men in Gray, and they are taking us away to be questioned."

As if on cue, the engine started, and the van began moving.

"But where are we going?" Jim asked.

"I don't know." Hamilton said plainly.

There was an awkward silence.

Hours later, the van parked and there was a thudding sound. A moment later, the doors to their compartment opened, and Jim and his seven companions were instructed to exit the vehicle.

They did so, and Jim found himself within an empty airplane hangar.

There were eight seats, which they were instructed to sit in.

A door at the far end on the hangar opened, and a figure began moving towards the group.

Eventually, she reached the assembled octet and their guards.

She was a beautiful young woman, dressed in a conservatively gray business suit.

"Gentlemen," she said, in a voice that was both icily cold and enticingly hot. "I want you to tell me all that you can about Literary Guardians Inc."

  1. *Mr. Williams told her what he knew.
  2. Another van pulled up, and out stepped the woman's superior.
  3. Another van pulled up, and a single man was thrown out, looking like he had been beaten. His name was Sid.
  4. Something else.
