"We will tell you nothing!" Spat Mr. Hamilton.
"And why not?"
"Because," Mr. Williams said, "You bastards worked with BlackCo., one of our enemies!"
"It's funny that you should mention that, Mr. Williams." She said.
"Why is that?" Mr. Williams asked, looking very nervous.
"Because, Mr. Williams, you are in league with Literary Guardians."
The room erupted, as the men (other than Jim) began yelling at Mr. Williams.
"Silence!" She yelled. "It is because of his work that we are allowing your continued existence."
Then Mr. Hamilton spoke.
"Why did you do it, Frank?"
Frank Williams responded, saying, "I wasn't in league with them, I was blackmailing an employee of theirs to get the necessary resources to complete the project."
"Who?" Hamilton asked.
"Sid."
Mr. Hamilton became confused. "Sid's a player?"
"He is now. I've been blackmailing him."
"Enough!" The woman said. "You now have a choice. Mr. Williams, you will either assist us in getting security codes to gain access to Literary Guardians, or we will retire all of you from existence."
"What's in it for us?" Mr. Hamilton asked.
"If you help us do this, we will provide you with the necessary resources to complete your project, and we will leave this alt and the ones subsequently created by it alone."
Then Mr. Hamilton gave his answer.
